Falling Man

1. I think it has to do with morals of people and just pure acceptance. It is hard for some to think that someone so close to them would do such an unthinkable act.

2. I do not think it is important at all. Knowing the identity of the person should not change the situation. It may be good for the family of that person to know and have closure, but knowing who it is does not have to do with the photo and how it represents that day.

3. I don't think so. It basically shows the harsh reality of what happened that day. Saying it is exploitation is a way of saying that people were in denial of the day. The photo spoke a thousand words of that day and the way those people felt.

4. I think that she just wanted people to realize what happened that day, and the emotions he must have felt. It didn't matter who he was, but how we felt by seeing the photo.

5. How do you feel about the analogy being made that it is the tomb of the unknown soldier for that day? I feel like that could be somewhat accurate. He is seen as the one depiction of the reality that happened on 9/11.

6. This means that people need to realize that this did happen, and you can't understand until you feel the emotions in the images. You cannot make judgments unless you understand the experiences.
